ACROVIEW Technology announces support for INDIE’s constant current driver chip IND83220

Recently, Chip programmer leader ACROVIEW Technology announced the latest iteration of its chip programmer and announced a series of new compatible chip models. In this update, the constant current driver chip IND83220 launched by INDIE has been supported by the chip programmer device AP8000.

As the first domestic multi-channel LED constant current source integrated with CAN PHY, IND83220 integrates up to 27 constant current sources, each of which can support a maximum of 60mA. It also integrates ARM M0 core, which can achieve color calibration algorithm processing, power management, GPIO control, LED driving and other functions on a single chip. It also adopts 16 bit PWM control and integrates PN voltage detection circuit, which can support both RGB driving and color mixing control, as well as monochrome LED driving. Mainly supports interactive light/signal light applications, suitable for dynamic ambient lighting inside the car, as well as intelligent signal display (ISD) for human-machine interaction applications outside the car.

The IND83220 chip also integrates two time-sharing power switches internally. When using a time-sharing switch for dual time control, a single chip can independently control 18 RGB LEDs, and can also control the external timing circuit through the chip's GPIO. It also provides 3/4/5 minute options for ISD human-machine interaction applications in car exterior lighting, further expanding the number of LED drivers and helping customers significantly reduce the number of driver chips used, saving system costs.

This host supports both USB and NET connections, enabling the networking of multiple programmers and synchronous control of programming operations. The built-in safety protection circuit can instantly detect abnormal situations such as chip inversion or short circuit, and immediately power off to ensure the safety of the chip and programmer.The host integrates high-speed FPGA internally, significantly improving data transmission and processing speed. The back of the host is equipped with an SD card slot. Users only need to save the engineering files generated by the PC software to the SD card root directory and insert them into the card slot.
