Elementum is located in the One North Technology City within the Buena Vista community of Singapore, which is the hub of Singapore's thriving biomedical industry. This 12 story building conforms to the irregular shape of its plot and curves in a U-shape along the perimeter, creating a unique presence and visual identity for the Elementum campus.
The ground floor of the building features a large atrium that blends seamlessly with the surrounding park, while a 900 square meter green roof will serve as a public activity space. The main laboratory layer is wrapped in energy-saving glass and will support various tenants. Its design is adaptable, with areas ranging from 73 square meters to 2000 square meters.
Facing Singapore's new railway corridor, Elementum will seamlessly integrate with this greenway through its porous ground floor and stepped gardens. The enhanced public spaces of the building, including a circular theater, playground, and lawn, will enrich the Buona Vista area and provide a vibrant community center.
The lighting design concept strives to create a visual effect of the building floating through the upward lighting of the podium. The detailed design of the stepped sky terrace also creates upward lighting. The customer is concerned about the maintenance of the lighting fixtures installed on the high ceiling of the podium, so we have lowered the height of the lighting fixtures and integrated spotlights with elliptical beams to illuminate the open areas of the podium. The remaining spotlights installed at the edge of the sunroof can be maintained through the maintenance channel at the rear..
The building faces a greenway transformed from a railway - the railway corridor, where streetlights gently illuminate the cycling and walking paths, seamlessly integrating with the railway corridor.
